Haunted (Angel) > Customer Review #1:
On par with the show

Finially, the writers of the Angel book series have choosen to update their books to events relating to the TV series. Wesley and Gunn have replaced Doyle and although Fred has not appeared in the novels yet, the story lines from last season and this season have.

In Haunted, Angel is dealing with his emotions surrounding Cordelia as he is doing in the show. Haunted is a well written book with surprises around every turn. Cordelia has won a spot as a contestant on a reality series in a "haunted house". ALthough she at first believes all the events to be made up, she starts to consider other ideas when she begins hearing and seeing things. The contestants are at the mercy of the ghosts as all outside communication has been cut off. Cordelia has the visions now as she does in the TV series and ANgel will do anything to ease her pain. Its one of these visions that draw her to warn Angel over live television about a girl in trouble. Angel and the gang must figure out COrdelias message and save the girl as well as save COrdelia from the haunted house.

ANyone who enjoys the TV show will much enjoy this novel.

Haunted (Angel) > Customer Review #2:
Fangs For The Memory!!!!

Unlike the previous Angel novels, this one is set with the Angel, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn team just after the Darla affair of Season Two.
Cordelia is taking part in a Big Brother style game show where she must stay a week in a haunted house. Just before the cameras start rolling, she has one of her mind-splitting, heavens sent headache messages given to her from The Powers That Be. Unable to leave the premises or call anyone, she must try to convey her message to her teammates through the cameras. Headaches aside, she must also decide whether the ghostly goings on in the house are staged or the real thing.
Meanwhile Angel and co, as well as looking into Cordys problem, are investigating a Jane Doe body found with demonic markings on her. Everything leads to Wolfram and Hart.
This book reads just like a movie length episode would be like. Characterisation is spot on. You see the difficulties between Angel and his partners after the Darla events, Angels feelings for Cordy are more apparent, the interchange between Gunn and Wesley is hilarious, the relationship between Gunn and his gang is getting tenser plus an insight into why police tend not to deal with the supernatural related cases that occur in LA. Oh yeah, a small cameo from Doyle as well, YAY!
Overall, this book is RECOMMENDED to everyone!!!
