New Moon > Customer Review #1:
Awesome (no spoilers)

I inhaled both Twilight and New Moon in under three days cumulative. It would have been less if not for bothersome things like sleeping, eating, class, and work. lt;br /gt; lt;br /gt;Obviously, with the severe lack of Edward after the first three chapters, it wasnt as overtly romantic at Twilight. However, I found the evolution of Bellas friendship with Jacob engaging and sweet. I really, really felt for the poor girls predicament in chapter 16. Meyers writing made me feel like I have been through that same experience, though I have not. I completely identified with what Bella was thinking and feeling. lt;br /gt; lt;br /gt;I was a little surprised that it took until the Epilogue for the issue discussed there on the trail to come up; I had been thinking about it through most of the book, wondering when anyone was going to raise a hand and say "Hey, theres this tiny detail that we need to address." It should make for an exhilarated third installment, but man Im glad Im not Bella. lt;br /gt; lt;br /gt;I personally found the writing geared toward a slightly younger crowd than myself, but I read and love Harry Potter, so I cant really complain! All in all, its another excellent showing from Stephanie Meyer with interesting plot and characters, a heart-pounding climax ("Run, Bella, Run!") and a sweet resolution. Okay, maybe slightly bittersweet, given the epilogue, but I will be on the edge of my seat, waiting for Eclipse! I definitely recommend this book, less as a romance and more as an adventure.

Couldnt put it down

I loved Twilight and couldnt wait till I received my copy of New Moon. I received the book on Wed. at 1pm and finished it on Thurs. at 7:30am. I only put it down to make dinner and to sleep. I am a 39 yr. old mother of 2 and this was the best book I have read in a long time (and I read A LOT). Say I have no life, but when the book is good I just cant stop. I love the relationship between Bella, Edward and rest of his family. From reading some other reviews I wasnt sure how Id feel about Jacob, but I felt for him also. I hope someday I can get my daughter to read these two books, as I feel she will also love them. Now only if I can figure out what to do till her next book comes out!!

Cant stop!

Although I admittedly loved Twilight better than this book (Edward leaving her breaks my heart every time), this is a fabulous book. Something about the way Stephenie writes draws me in and keeps me coming back. I have read Twilight 4 times in the 3 weeks Ive had it and New Moon twice. lt;br /gt; lt;br /gt;I am dying for the next book - I am hoping that it comes out sooner than the projected "August" release. Will Edward give in and allow Bella to become a vampire? WILL she marry him to make it happen faster? What will her "special powers" be when she IS a vampire? (I am convinced she will be and will be sorely disappointed if Im wrong.) lt;br /gt; lt;br /gt;No series of books have taken me in and captivated me like this series since the Harry Potter books. Thats saying a lot for me! lt;br /gt; lt;br /gt;Get Twilight. Get New Moon. You wont be sorry!
