 100% Awsome!
I first want to say that this book definitly deserved the Newberry Award. I also want to say this book was 100% awsome!! This a a book that i probably never would have read i hadnt read in class and im glad i did. Even though it starts out kind of boring it gets really good! The plot is exhilarating and the action really heats up towards the end. Something you can read over and over again and never get tired of.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS BOOK!
All I can say is how do some people not enjoy this book? I love this book! I never thought about racism before Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry. After reading it I learned about how bad it was back in the 30s. I enjoyed it so much that I went out and bought the sequel, Let the Circle be Unbroken. This book is very sad though. I was crying (I never cry in books.) It is about all the hard ships in the Great Depression and how bad it was to be African-American. If this reveiw was helpful, go out and buy the book! You will not be sorry.

This book stunk. Mildred Taylor has been smoking the douby. I would rather have my head explode before reading this book. i once saw someone reading this in the library, and after two inutes of reading, he jumped out of the nine story building to his death.
